Earendil
Cattery is very proud to own the only British Shorthair male having earned
the Distinguished Merit Award in the Cat Fanciers' Association (CFA).
It is one of the most honorable awards given by CFA. A male must
sire 15 "grands" and a Female "5 grands" to receive this award.
The cat then receives the title DM after his or her name.

Brynbuboo Georgypeorgy of Earendil DM
Georgy is 14 years
old. At the age of eight months he granded and eventually became
CFA'S only Distinguished Merit male British Shorthair. In 1997 he
again sired a litter of 4 grands and is presently the proud daddy of a
new litter of four. He has produced a total of 31 grands. Many
of these grands have gone on to win Regional or National awards.
George was imported
from England by Jean Thawley of Jedi Cattery. When he
was 9 years old, Jean retired and let him come to live at Earendil.
Thank you Pat and Jean for letting us have Georgy to carry on and THANK
YOU GEORGE.
